Dear McNamara Families,

Happy Monday! Here are a few important reminders for the week ahead:

Thursday, October 2

No School for Students - Superintendent's Conference Day

Friday, October 3

McNamara Fun Run!!

Students should bring a water bottle to school and wear comfortable clothes/sneakers

Please be sure to notify the office of all student pick-ups using the form linked below. This will help us ensure students are in the cafeteria for pick-up rather than getting on the bus. If you plan to pick your student(s) up early, this will help us to get them ready in time. Thank you for your help with making sure our student dismissal runs smoothly!

Student Spotlight

Each week we will celebrate students who exemplify the Positivity Project character strength of the week. Congratulations to our students who are on student spotlight for Curiosity and Teamwork!

Student Drop-off

Please be sure to drive slowly and with caution when dropping off students in the morning as we have many staff walking from the parking lot to the building.

Socktober

During the month of October, all of our schools will be participating in SockTober. We will be collecting new socks for donation to PEACE Inc. in Baldwinsville. SockTober is a nationwide movement to help those in need by providing one of the most requested but often overlooked items – socks! Each school will be accepting new socks of all kinds, including those for men, women, children and babies. Every pair makes a difference in keeping someone warm this season.

Our district goal is 25,000 socks! Each week I will share an update of how many socks we have collected at McNamara.

Car Pick-Up at Dismissal

If you plan to pick your child up at dismissal please refrain from entering the parking lot before 3:00, and do not begin to form the line until 3:15. If you arrive prior to 3:15 you can pull into a parking spot in the back lot while waiting. This will allow our normal traffic flow to continue up until dismissal. Thank you for your understanding!
