Important message about Baldwinsville fire

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

We are deeply saddened by the news of the devastating fire at the New Legacy Apartments in Baldwinsville last night. Our hearts go out to the families who were displaced and lost their homes. Our district is committed to providing support and resources to all of our students who were impacted by this tragedy. We are reaching out to local emergency response teams to see how we, as a community, can help those in need. 

The district’s Crisis Response Team will provide support and counseling to students and staff on Monday at each of our schools and will continue as needed in the coming days. Your child may be affected by this news, even if they didn’t witness the events of the fire or know someone impacted. 

We are a close-knit community and we ask everyone to keep these families in your thoughts during this extremely difficult time. As we learn more, we will communicate additional information to support our families.
